(Home) Glow plug relay

My glow plug warning light is not going off on dash but stays on all the time. There is a click from some sort of relay device, which eminates from the passenger door column. I have tested glow plugs to make sure they are switching off with a voltage meter and they are cutting off OK following the click of the relay, I still have warning light illuminated though.
Will this be simply a faulty relay and if so how do you get at the little bleeder to replace, without cutting equipment.

Steve

Primary relay is located on the rear bulkhead beside the air filter. Secondary relay for the afterglow circuit is beside the ECU in the passenger door B pillar. Prise away the trim to gain access.

Sorry forgot to say, I think the timer is controlled by the ECU but it's been a while since I looked over the glowplug stuff so could be wrong. I've got the glowplug info from the manual scanned if you don't have the manual. Let me know if you want it.

Ian
Could you please send me the info re glowplugs - the relay I checked in my previous thread was the afterglow relay not the primary one.
Thanks
David
