After chatting to most of the people at the bridport acejam thought it might be nice to have a jam down at Newquey, the date would be sometime in september and am currently getting prices for group booking rates from various camp sites, will post more when find out rates and then will try and fix a date..

Where's Newquey? Somewhere in the Torbay area?

I only know of a Newquay in Cornwall and another in southwest Wales.

Yep, we will be there. I'm hoping for a site with a "slightly" wider approach road than Bridport! Those who went will know what I mean.

Me Hiace was clipping the mirrors on both sides of the track at times not to mention the caravan which is an extra 8 inches each side! Still first time I needed the 4WD getting out of the field, great fun!

Hi Guys and Gals, I have been in touch with a friend of mine at Retallack, St Columb near Newquay.
He has said that he is willing for you to hold one of your Jam functions there. It just happens to be the Spirit of The West theme park, so you will see plenty of cowboys! I have spent many enjoyable weekends there, mostly because they are a friendly bunch.

the story so far, have e-mail about 10 campsites around newquey and only a couple will do group rates, ranging from £4 to £6 a night per person, have e-mailed the shreiff and am awaiting reply. so far i have had 6 townaces wanting to come. we have a choise of dates availbe in september, 11,12 18,19 or 25,26 if you want to let me know your best dates i can pick the one where most people can attend. sorry about the spelling wife not home at the moment.... :)
