hi all!can any body help with an indicator stalk as l/h operation works only sometimes .also looking for wheel trim ,original seven spoke with "toyota" in centre. while i am online still looking for one piston for diesel turbo townace 2ltr 1990 thanks. ray

It's not the stalk but the contacts at the end of it that will be either dirty or worn. Strip it down and you may be able to build up the contact with a piece of copper or solder - cheaper than full replacement.

Sometimes (without disassembly) a squirt of wd40 in the right place will blast away the crud and restore the contact......worth a try..

thanks for info on "eroded contacts"ian and chris . and message to john follows . i am in rugby and building spare engine so looking for one piston ,this is to replace the one i took out of chris goldups engine to repair my townie . it is stamped with "aisin 64160 1b"(i know that weight is important)i believe it to be standard size . a 64161 3b might be interesting also. i am on 01788544519 or email .thanks ray
