(Home) Wiring for aircon

To try & cover a rather clogged-up coolant system, the (not so) nice people at theCar Centre at Prestatyn decided to bodge the job by wiring in the two fans above the aircon condensor over the horizontal rad into an ignition fed live, since which the aircon hasn't worked. The cooling system issue is now resolved (properly) but I could do with trying to find out about this aircon cock-up. My mechanic mate says if I can get him some sort of wiring diagram he may be able to figure out what Rob the clown has done.

Anyone got anything???? Pleeease, pretty pleeease. Someone say yes. It is my birthday on Monday and this would be a really really nice present?

Dave,
I shall be in Llanberis North Wales, attending the Dragon Fire event 16,17,18 July. You would be welcome to have a look at my manuals if you are not soted by then. Not got a diagram as such but do have the Spacecruiser A/C section and the US Toyotavan A/C Section which may be of help????
I will be taking part and may need finding....
Should be able to spot my Ace though!

Sods law in overdrive. I'm in North Wales this weekend, Rhyl (might ask that pill%*k at The Car Centre what he did thinking about it now) If I get no joy out of him (and resist the temptation to kill him) I'll try and get down to you.

BTW what's the Dragon fire event?

On the engine outlet pipe just below the filler neck, there are two sensors for the aircon fans. One turns the fans on and the other disables the aircon clutch. It is possible that they have simply swapped the connectors over. If they have its not a good fix because if the temp gets above 110C then the fans will stop and the aircon will start.

Dragon's Fire is the promotion of alternative fuels. I'm taking part with the bio-power engine fuels from renewable/recovered sources.
