Can't help I'm afraid as I need mine, but you have reminded me!

My idle switch seems to have stopped working.
It did work. I have not had the dash out or anything near the switch.


Anyone any ideas?

Yes!
Rubber hose is connected to vaccuum.

It did work, as it made a difference when switching on.

Now, when I use the air conditioning and am stuck in traffic, it seems as if the engine is about to cut out (but never does).

Sounds awful.

Is the solenoid getting 12v? Is it seized up perhaps?
It's odd, there's two solenoids IIRC, one for aircon idle up, one for the switch...
