Or rubber hose all the way if you are not proficient at pipe bending.

Had the same problem with my Cruiser. Replaced with rubber pipes 3 years ago and no problems. Probably too late now but when I cut the badly corroded pipes away (the ones under pasenger seat) they were actually quite thick pipes and not in any danger of leaking. They looked a lot worse that they really were.
