My fuel guage has spent the afternoon swinging from full to empty, the tank is full. When it drops it does so in one go then rises and falls until it gets to fall then drops again. Currently reading correctly,
but before I drop the tank, in 600 Kms time, has anyone who has posted this before found a cure?
Plenty of posts about the misreading guage but no posts on how it was sorted.

When I was looking at swapping the fuel sensor on my old Townie I was told you need to drop the axle to get to it - hope that's wrong! On mine the resistive coating had worn out, so the only cure was to swap the sensor. I just used my trip clock to judge when to refuel.
