i have a 1998 toyota liteace noah [although it is described in the paperwork as a townace super extra] i need a set of brake pads and wonder if they are similar to any pads on other toyotas thanks for any help

No idea. Take'em off and go to your local motor factors. They'll have a cross-reference book with pictures or at least outlines of all the pads...

I think that they are the same as the Toyota Power Van, as this is basically the van the Noah is based on. But as David says, remove the pads from one side & visit your local factor & get them to match up from the shape/size.
