(Home) Overheating

Can anybody help me.I have a 1990 2ltd 4wd townie that overheats on long journeys on motorways. If i keep speed down to about 60mph its ok. I am thinking of changing thermostat and rad cap. Could do with part numbers. Not sure about fan coupling, seems a bit loose. Could do with part number and price.

Yes it does get near the limit on hot days and high revs. In addition to checking the fan, changing the stat and cap you could try drilling a couple of 3mm holes in the rim of the stat, say equi-distant from the jiggle pin. I use this variant in summer and swap it for an original stat in winter. Keeps the temperature down nicely without effecting consumption.
The part numbers should be in the archives.
