i can fill my townace (2ltr efi super extra 1989 )up with water run it all day but soon as i turn her off she starts bubbling in the expantion tank then when i check the water level once it has cooled down and just like magic the bloody water has vanished . now the previous owner had filled her with shed loads of rad weld so i stripped all the rads down and backed flushed them all and fixed the small hole in one of the pipes . i haved drilled an extra three mm hole in the thermostat flange can anyone help as i dont want to get rid of her but i need a reliable vehicle for work

when i start my townace up there is a constant clicking noise until i rev her (i think sticking starter at a guess) but there is also a horrible grinding noise on the passenger (near) side when i am driving it sounds like a spring coiled up so tight its going to snap at any moment

Oh, and the noise, is it from front or rear, and all the time or worse when steering/ cornering?
