Hi all to cut a long story short....I thought my Townie had driven its final few miles after a complete screw up by two garages and several mechanics in Southampton at the end of last year (my message They finally killed my Townie) but no she rides again a friend of a friend who was a senior mech with toyota had a look and said he could get her going again with a new engine.
I was recommended to JAS in Suffolk and we agreed a price of £705 all in plus they sorted out an engine with a good turbo, it turned up next day and the engine was fitted in a week my friend works from home and the total cost was £1200, which I don't think is too bad especially as my Townue runs better than it ever did before touch wood.
This leads me onto I have a G reg super extra for sale either for spares or repairs, it is taxed and mot'd but will need work on it, or I can break it and sell the parts at an agreed price, it has been a solid workhorse but I am being moaned at for havin too many cars, if you are interested please email me or post a message.

Hi Neil I emailed you my email address but not sure if you received it, here it is again just in case marc.hamilton2@ntlworld.com looks like the mot this am is going to be a waste of time just checked the lights and found my 17 year old has fiddled with fog light switch and now the rear lights have stopped working, I am trying to think of interesting ways of dealing with him!!!
