Lost track of various threads - but did the "Russian" workshop manual get translated.Or any other come to that. If so where can I get one from ?

No translation.
Toyota still sell the 2C-T engine manual.
The US site Toyotavans has an online copy of the US Toyota van manual, almost the same as the Townace but with a lower roof, and only fitted petrol engines. It does cover the gearbox, suspension, brakes and 4WD as fitted to the Townace. Some general electrics are the same.
No wiring diagram however for the Townace/Liteace.
