(Home) TEMS shocks wanted

Wanted - a good pair of rear shocks for a 1990 Townace Super Extra 2.0L TD, 2WD. Used are fine if they are good. Any help much appreciated! Thanks!

Frank - I went down the route of replacing my TEMS shocks with non-TEMS. My verdict is that TEMS is better but not sure if paying 3 times the price for the privelige is worth the difference.

£450 replacement TEMS shocks (x4)
£150 US performance shocks with boots (x4)

Let me know if you want more details if you decide to go for non-TEMS.

Hi Ian,

I now seem to have exhausted all lines of enquiry for reasonably priced TEMS shocks. I would appreciate it if you would send me the details/supplier of your US Performance shocks, please. Re the TEMS/non-TEMS issue I've now come to the conclusion that any working shocks are better than no shocks! :-)

After adjusting the height of the front suspension I've now found that the rear is too low - do you know of anywhere that I could get my rear coil springs retempered - they look in good physical condition with no corrosion? Failing that any idea of a supplier/price for a new pair, please?

Thanks again for your help, appreciated!
