does anybody know which wire to disconect from the wiper switch so as the wiperblades stop as soon as i turn them of currently they stop half way across

Sounds like something's up with the parking switch inside the motor- do they always stop at the same place?. The only way to stop the wipers dead is to turn off the ignition

Did you change the connection pin? it might be that it needs a bit of sdjustment to get the park in the right position

I changed the wiper stud that the blade goes onto the blades top 1/2 way back when you turn them off when you put them back on they continue to the end and work normally
