(Home) Smoke/oil in turbo

Hello people, I have always wanted a townace since i recovered one that had driven from france and was on its way back to newcastle (only an alternator fault)
but i was impressed by it. I have recently managed to get hold of one cheep that was giving off excesive smoke i suspected the turbo which upon inspection was beyond repair and had so much oil in it the exhaust was full and dripping all the time.
I managed to source a turbo replaced all filters, flush engine replaced oil three times but still dirty.
Now when i drive there is no smoke until i put it under load ie going up hill or accelerating hard then i get thick blue smoke?
What i think is happening is crank case pressure i have checked the breather pipe which is ok i think the oil is being forced into the turbo via the oil return pipe.
What i would like to know is do these engines have high crank case pressure any way and has any one had this problem n what did they do to solve it?? Regards Newby Townie.

Stewart. A long shot here but, did you clean out all of the air inlet pipes and immobilise the exhaust gas recirculation valve ? I don't think that these engines have a higher than normal crankcase pressure but, my experience has been that the EGR valve can lead to the symptoms you describe. There is much information in the archives re the EGR

If you've cleaned the breather pipe, the only things that could be causing high crank pressure could be the oil seperator baffle in the valve cover being blocked, or bad rings...
