(Home) Flushing and refilling cooling system

Hi
I'm going to have a go at this following the proceedure in the Ace online handbook. Just one thing puzzling me at the moment though. Is the "Toyota Red Coolant" highlighted in red print actually antifreeze or am I getting it wrong?

Also I've bought but not yet opened a bottle of Redex diesel system cleaner. Is this stuff ok or do you recommend another brand in particular

Thanks

Graham

Yes the red stuff is all weather coolant.
Diesel cleaner is ok, not great but ok. I've found Wynns to be the best I get the professional stuff from my local garage, don't know if it is any different to the cans in motor spares places, but way cheaper.

just a word of warning about derv cleaners , they are quite a powerful chemical and overuse will result in rotted o rings and rubber in the system. most residue is bacteria forming between the inevitable water in the bottom of the tank and the derv which floats aloft. Some of the bioderv users know all about rotten rubber, the derv additive is more powerful than bio.
