Has anybody out there in Ace land fitted flood lights to the underside of the front doors on their Ace? I ask because I plan to fit flood lights on my Ace because I want to avoid putting my feet into a puddle of water when ever I get out of it. I plan to wire the lights into the door lights so they come on when the doors are open but I am having trouble locating some lights small enough to fit in the bottom of the doors. Has any body got any ideas about what lights I could use?

Check out the 12 v leds...they would wire to your current door lights without much extra amps draw.....there are quite a few web sites if you do a search...many bulb sizes and intensities are available....

Cosmic used to make some nice square lamps around 1.5" across, these are the same as Rover once used on 800's etc, so are pukka. Try a good car accessory shop for these. Otherwise find a Rover 800 abandoned somewhere & get the lamps out of that.

I went to my local breakers yard this morning and came away with a pair of Rover 800 lamps. Fitted them this afternoon and they work a treat.
