(Home) Rocker switch bulbs

I've got several "rocker switches" that do not light up 'cos the tiny weenie teenie bulbs have blown. Does anyone know where these are available? My local Toyota dealer is as good as useless - in fact not even that good !!!

I got mine from RadioSpares, although you *might* try Maplin...

Toyota do stock them as they are fitted to many older switches. I got mine from a breakers yard, fell in my pocket, while getting some lamp holders off of a scrapped Celica.
Nice to see you are bringing the Ace back up to standard.

As Clive says, dealer should be able to help- try him with 84999-10320.
Alternatively, go to a model/ craft shop- I believe the size of bulb is used on model railways etc- ask for a 12v "wheat" bulb and see what they offer.

Be warned tho. They might be pricey from the dealer, and if you get the bulb on its own from elsewhere, you'll need a pair of tweezers to fit it to the holder and wrap the wires correctly...

Have you tried your local motor factors like Brown Brothers or somebody like that. I replaced a batch in my last car (shi*roen). Same size bulb but they were close on a pound a piece then (3 yrs ago).

Factors don't do these bulbs, they only come through the dealers, they are over a fiver each. It is possible, but fiddly, to change the little grain of wheat bulb in the holder, they come from model shops.

Regards Rob.
