The replacement number is not listed on my parts CD. I guess Toyota can comfirm if it is a later sustitute?

If they have the same connector, more than likely they will interchange...

Thanks for the prompt reply chaps, didnt think to check with toyota again they frightened me off the 1st time with the price £102+vat will try tomorrow (mind you they were not the dearest.. a certain company that states they supply 70% of jap parts to the insurance industry quoted me £180 plus vat....no wonder our premiums are so high!..........many thanks for your great website we would be lost without it

Disaster....turns out 27700 64080 regulator is not the same as 27700 64060... 7 pins on 64080... 6 pins on 64060...different shaped connector, had to send it back to gold seal garage 247 spares plaistow who originally told me it would "do the job" they have promised to refund me in full though. So now we are still looking for this regulator 27700 640060 if anybody knows where i can get one we are getting a bit desperate as son needs stuff transported to uni in kent, next weekend.
can anybody help us please ......many thanks
