Quick poll. Anybody sucessfully using the parts cd on an XP-based system? Any problems?

No problems at all.

Only by way of the fact that the installer doesn't recognise large disks but then that's a failing for W2K as well. I've had to install to a memory 'stick' but it works fine albeit a little slow, and no probs for XP.

Hmm. I sent a disc out to Andy Richards and it's being odd- installs OK, loads the B1 disc OK, but then when you try to use it, it's coming up with the installer again...

hi, I keep seeing reference to a spares CD! How and where do I get one from? I have a 1990 Toyota Liteace.
Thanks

David. Thanks for your recent advice and, also, to Ian BUT, I am still unable to get the CD to load in Windows XP. On Ian's advice (Thanks Ian)I tried with a 128MB Flash Drive but, still, no luck. The EPC is loaded into my programmes list but, when I try to select the B1 Cd, in the Japanese area section, after following the two "prompts" of "install CD", I get a couple of mysterious error messages and the Cd will not load. If anyone could prompt a less than expert PC user on this it would be very much appreciated. I had the CD loaded on my old Pc running ME and did not have any problems. I am lost without this invalubale reference tool.

John, As I'm still on '98 I'm a bit clueless. However, I acquired a more recent version of the EPC program a while back, maybe you'd have more success with it? If I get a chance over the weekend I'll copy it for you...

David. That is very kind of you. I will email my details directly to you and, perhaps, you will let me know your costs

Hi David,

Not using the CD at all now, unfortunately the copy you did for me many moons ago has developed a hole in the silver layer & therefore cannot be read by the drive any more, when I changed operating system I lost the program & have not been able to re-install. Would be interested in your newer one if poss.

Regards Rob.

OK Rob. I'll sort it while I'm doing John's.

Hiya, i had problems with EPC and XP until i created temp files of the CDs on my harddrive. I think there should be an option to do this on the CD.
I still have to insert CD2 to get the program to run though!
