well not me,but my liteace has, when ticking over in drive,it starts to shake, quite violently some times, building up and then dying off.if i go in to neutral it stops.the revs are fine, just under 1000 rpm.i hads it looked at at my local garage,he couldnt advise me on an answer to it.would it be dodgy injectors or the clutch on its way out ?.some body said that the transmission oil might need changing ? any ideas.its a 2.2 td lieace 1995 auto.any ideals.

is the a/c on or the cool box, this will vary the revs and can make the engine vibrate when in drive and stationary. the auto box does not have clutch but a torque converter, and yes would be a good idea to change the fluid or take it to to a gearbox place, have found most garages dont like touching auto boxes.

- (#13418) Rob L., 22 Sep 04 13:10
ive changed fuel filter not to long ago,and air con and box all turned off,but still she shakes,im off to paignton at the week end, when i get back i'll try askin the local gear box garage to take a look.i've had this prob for 3 years now,it aint got any worse but its a pain in the butt when you pull up at the lights and every one in the car starts shakin, can you imagin the look on the face of the people in the car next to me.has any one had their injectors changed,is it expensive and is there any improvment in fuel economy.could it be too much or too little fuel gettin thro at tick over speed thats causin the problem

Are you engine mounts etc. OK?

Dave,
Does it disappear when you have the fan and idle up turned on ? Is it worse when warm or cold ?
