(Home) Bleeding brakes

Hi,my hubby recently changed the pads and shoes on our G reg spacecruiser and now every time I push in the clutch pedal it sounds as if there are bubbles in it.I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it is connected to the brake change, and if it is what is the correct regime for bleeding the system. If it is not likely to be connected any clues to what it could be would be greatly appreciated.I said about bleeding brakes because they are spongey aswell.
many thanks

Yes, bleed the clutch also. Start with the longest route ending up with drivers side last. There is a load balancing valve dead center just before the rear axle that can also be bleed.

Hi,if Clive is out there can he tell me how to bleed the clutch,is it done individually or is it done when you do the brakes. Also what is this load balancing valve and is it necessary to bleed here also.Sorry to be so vague but my husband only knows about Capris. We have ordered a Tarago manual from Oz but until that arrives we're stuck.

Hi,i've a 1990 2L 2WD townie turbo diesel which i've had for 3 and a bit years, most of it great. Last year i overheated on the M25 and managed to pull into the clacket lane services. When i looked at the engine there was no radiator cap. I got a family member to give me a lift home and went to my local motor factors, which are normally very helpfull. They gave me a nissan cap which they said should fit. Sure enough it did the trick and i've had no problems since. 4 weeks ago i had to replace all 4 shocks for the mot since then i'm getting allsorts of knocks and creaking from underneath, any ideas?
