ADL and many others do replacements, same as fitted to the Spacecruiser. Have you tried greasing it to restore movement and take out some play? The nut on top unscrews and allows a grease nipple to be screwed in.

hi clive.my van is already fitted with grease nipples,
witch i greased a few days ago in prep. for the test.
i think that they must have been fitted by the dealer
i got the car from to get it through it's first u.k
m.o.t.????!!!still i can't complain, i've had the car for four years & done over 100,000 k.m.

In that case about £30 a side, you will need a hefty ball joint spliter to separate the joint, that and four small bolts and job done. The powertrain ones I last fitted came pre loaded with grease.
I keep the upper suspension arm pushed/propped up as it can resist moving back up to normal position once the joint has been removed!

If you are greasing the top swivel..prudent to jack the wheels off the ground 1st to allow the grease to fill the slack at the top of the ball......not too much grease though or the joint gaiter will fill up like a balloon with grease
