hello, i've got a 1986 master ace surf import, a joy in many ways, but a pain when something breaks - right now the brake master cylinder has gone. does anyone have any good ideas for where to find a replacement (and spares in general)? had a quote from bbc spares for £160... is this pretty much the sort of price i'm looking at?

How do you mean "gone"? If the bore isn't worn or rusty you can buy an overhaul kit from the dealer...

Re. spares in general the average motor factor will be helpful, especially if he's a Blueprint/ ADL agent, or even if you can remove the part for comparison.
