Can anyone tell me were i can get some of the little bulbs that are in my switches eg hazard lights on my dash.My Ace is a 2.2 td 1994 and she is great.

LED's might be a better replacement if you can find them same fitting. They never blow. I'm in nz, sorry F

If you're talking about the subminiature lamps that bayonet into the side of the switches, you can either go to the dealer (yes, they'll tell you to buy the switch, but you don't have to...) or go to a hobby/ electronics shop and get the tiny wire-ended bulb on it's own for a few pennies (they're used in model trains etc), and spend some calm time with a pair of tweezers wrapping the wires into the holder as per the original.
LEDs probably wouldn't be good in this app., as they'd be pointing the wrong direction when fitted to the switch.

I replaced a couple of th bulbs in my switches with ones i bought from Maplins, cost about 8p each or something crazy like that. You have to do a bit of fiddly work to fit them and trim the wire legs of the bulb but they work a treat. A lot cheaper than Toyota, they quoted me about £3 each and i had to wait two weeks to get them.

I'm reliably informed that a decent " scale model" shop should keep these miniature bulbs as they are frequently used in scale modelling - probably less than a quid each.

As Gordon says any good scale model shop should do them. I went to my local one with the original bulbs, he matched them up with a set that goes in Scalextric cars,fitted them in,perfect!!!,in fact slightly brighter than originals. Price 75p for pack of 2.
If anybody has any difficultly in getting them please email me as where I get them from he always has loads in.
