hi, i have just been qoted £332 for a back box exhaust , for a toyota hiace waggon 2.4d , can anybody tell me if thats the correct price that i should expect for this vehicle or, could anybody tell me the best place for parts. thankyou.

It seems a lot of money for just the back box but, you might like to try Powerflow Exhausts, ie,at http://www.powerflow.uk.com/ For a Townace, both boxes and the inteconnecting pipework, comes out at around £250 and, it is in "lifetime guaranteed" stainless steel. They have agents around the country and there is likely to be one not too far from you

i'm picking one up for my 2.8 wagon next week....£190 something + vat.
a few months back (when i should have replaced it) i was quoted £220 something + vat.
for the 1st time delaying the inevitable seems to have paid off!
i paid just short of 120 for the front section a few more months back.....if i had the foresight then, i would have gone stainless as john suggests...these consumables soon add up
wait till you need a set of trailing arm bushes for £144!
