all my lights just decided to light up on my dash of my 1990 townace 2ltr diesel checked fuses ok changed alt brushes abit worn down. started up still all my dash lights stay on,put all headlights on rev engine no change in brightness. can the regulator cause this problem and is there any way to check to see if regulator is working or not,can anybody advise me thanks steve.

Hi Steve I had trouble similer to you replaced my regulator at a cost of £100 only to fine it had nothing to do with it check your battery terminals there is some small wires that go to the posative terminal they had broken reconnected these and a presto no more unwanted warning lights hope this helps
