have got a warning light on dashboard that looks like a roman collesium could anyone tell me what its for.

Hello Steve,

The collosium light is supposed to resemble a radiator and indicates low level water in your coolant expansion tank.

Check the level there and in your system by removing the radiator cap. It is best to check both these levels when the system is cold. Fill your system level to the top and top your expansion tank to between the min and max levels, about half way, making sure the pipe attached to the lid dips in the coolant.
