Sherrie,

Brean will on again, late May but not a Bank Holiday weekend. I can't confirm until Feb as the owners are on holiday, villa on St Lucia!

Any others.....?

Speaking of Jams - how come Mr Bright hasn't updated his website with pics from the Bridport Jam last June? Too embarrassing ??

a slight aside - has anyone heard from Steve Ford-Elliot (he who penned the name 'Jam') since he move to Ireland. Wondered how he was getting on .....

Ian
why would I be embarrassed about the Bridport jam? Everyone enjoyed themselves and had a good time. OK the weather was bad, but that’s par for the course with ace jams. I will admit though that I have a lot of updating to do, and its well overdue. My biggest problem this year has been finding the time to manage a very busy business, builders who promised to get a load of work done before the end of the summer, (which has only just been completed before the end of the year) a health scare for Tracey, and trying to get ready for Christmas before I have an operation next week. After that, I have to try to repair my van after joining the cracked head for a second time in less than two years.

Ian and any one else interested - Steve Ford-Elliot is alive and well in Eire somewhere, he sent me a view from his front door, lake, mountain/hill and not another building in sight, sunset you get the picture? He lives at the end of the lane, no passing traffic, which is ideal for his children. He was a house husband while his wife teaches in the local school, and has joined the local pub band. Townace still going, well this time last year! Sadly I have lost his email address following a virus that needed my hard drive wiping!
I have the Bridport memory photos, including the mud up close when I fell over - and before anyone else says it no the Earth did not move!

Clive - thanks for the update on Steve. I guess they don't have Internet access in the wilds of Eire then? Glad to hear all is well.
Dave - I was only pulling your leg mate. Sorry to hear you've had a bad time of it lately and hope all goes well next week. All being well we can maybe catch up over a few beers at Brean.

No problem Ian, Ill be there. No idea what I will be driving though. Blue van, Brown van, something else?

Greetings all from Downunder!
Yes the Toyota Townace/Masterace has made it to Australia too!
I own a 1992 QCR30G with a 2C-T diesel engine, it is auto and four wheel drive, are the Ace's in the UK also 4x4 (Hey just noticed if you use the shift key you get $X$ is that a bad omen???) I have owned it for about a month and am very pleased with it, I have been hitting the net to see if I can get a engine manual (RM025E)on CD-Rom, trying to save on postage.
Also any Ideas on the 4x4setup for servicing I noticed that it has a filler and drain plug in the transfer case so I am guessing that it runs on seperate oil than the auto gearbox,
dose anybody have a fluid chart on oil types and amounts, in particular transfer case and diffs.
Great to have this bulitin board keep up the great work!

can anyone recall the URL for the on-line translator?

- (#14412) Ian Dunse (Derbs), 16 Dec 04 01:35

It be near Bristle talk -
Winding road, better than fun fair, Liteace rolls a bit on corners, try it out in the dark without lights if you dare but mind the ditch.
See if you can spot the worst looking Liteace in Weston(the World) being run on a shoestring budget.
I don't understand the next bit but I'm from London anyway!
Happy Christmas to one and all.
