Hi all,
I have a great engine in my "F" plate Townace but, it is so very slow and slugish.
Does anyone know of a fairly good engine conversion to fit to the Towny?
I have fitted Rover V8's to various cars but would consider an easier one to start with.
Also, what power would the gearbox take?
look forward to hearing from anyone on this,

P.s. when I bought my previous spacecruiser, there was a Rover V8 one also for sale (just missed it), anyone know the owner?

Width between chassis legs and height under the seat are likely to be limiting. Toyota/ Aisin gearboxes are tough, but I don't know if there are published torque limits unfortunately.

I have seen info on intercoolers etc, any other tweaks that could increase my performance?
the townace is perfect in every other respect and I have got a good one for rust free and everything working.
i cary 5 kids and me and the wife and 4 times a year, the trailer tent.
so, it is hard work.
