I know ground clearance may not be a issue in UK but over rocks in the outback of Australia the transfer case tends to get a bashing, My last car was a suzuki 1990 Vitara (no Problems with clearance) well to cut the story short I have a spare suzuki rim in the shed and being one to try anything once I jacked up the town ace (also a 4x4) and presto rim fits like a glove,
next step is to find a tire that fits under the wheel arch, won't foul the suspension is all areas of travel and then tackel the speedo calibration.

One for the drawing board in the new year.

PS:
I also fitted Ford F100 pickup tyres and rims on the suzuki to raise it up by 2.1/2 inches.
so I guess Ford F100 Rims will also fit the Town Ace!!
