I have a 90 townace and to the left of the steering colum is a small black push switch that I have worked out (with the help of this list) that this is for the rear fog light. One ofd the wires went to the rrh stop light but that ment that the stop light only worked when the lights were on any ideas for a new connection

Most townies have four stoplights as standard (two on body, two on hatch) and some importers disconnect the two on the bootlid and send the foglight supply to them instead. Maybe that's what's going on...
Check for other blown bulbs.

Hi Dave I have 3 stop lights. One of the stop loghts in the tailgate has been replaced with a fog light (not working) I presumed that the blue wire was the feed for the fog
