You mean front foglight, or cornering light? Sidelights are generally 5-10W.

If it's a corner light best replace it with the smaller lamp to save problems at MOT time. If it's for the front fogs, you can use a 21W, modify the lampholder (replace it with a stop/tail dual filament jobbie) then use a Volvo running light bulb, or look through the archives for the halogen equivalent that someone (RobD?) has access to.

While we are on the subject of lamps my 1989 4x4 Royal Lounge Townie recently had its MOT. It is fitted with the amber running lights that are located in the front grill beside the indicators. My Townie passed its MOT without any problem and nothing was mentioned by the MOT inspector/tester about the amber running lights. However, when I bought my Townie 3 years ago it also had amber running lights at the rear built into the indicators. They came on with the red side lights and flashed when indicating. The red side lights did not flash. I used my Townie for about a month with the lights operating this way until I changed them to normal red side lights and amber indicators. I have seen one other Townie with the amber running lights front and rear and I was wondering if it is legal to have amber running lights at the rear. I know the laws concerning import vehicle lighting differs from UK vehicle lighting laws but what is the law regarding import vehicle lighting?
