i recently replaced the head gasket on my wifes spacecruiser mod f 3y engine as we had overheating probs had the head checked & skimmed it seemed at time engine had got very hot as 25thou had to be skimmed off
re assembled and tried it runs but not well on investigation exhaust valve on cyl 1 is not opening and push rod feels springy if pushed down but does lift if you turn engine over so i think its hydraulic cam follower head seems dry of oil to what i would expect has anybody had this problem any comments welcomed many thanks
