3C-T 2.2 1993.In Eastbourne, Sussex.
I noticed the contributions of all to the debate on getting the Air, Oil and Fuel filters at a reasonable price but I've tried all the local factors and I've either drawn a blank or been quoted ''new mortgage'' prices like £65 for the three.. with sharp intake of breath!!
Can someone (Clive?) tell me about the Auto Import people .. i think in Bristol, and if they do mail order cheaper?
I saw a post asking for the tel. no. but no answering message...

I suspect it's not listed but just drop Nev an email, say you got the link from Townace.com and he may quote you happy!
Foreign Auto Parts also do mail order, I tried www.foreignautoparts.co.uk but it does not work for me, probably on www.yell.co.uk

Ok - thanks Clive and Neil... I can't find foreignautoparts either .. not in yell or google or yahoo.. maybe they don't have a website although someone said they do... Where is the phone number ?
I emailed Nev at Nippon and will await the reply ....
... Neil, was yours a 3C-T 2.2 ? I gather that the specs are different to the 2.0, at least for the air filter .... taller i think ...

Just looked at the bbc site again ... £34 + vat + p&p
Why is the air filter so d***ed expensive at £22 +vat?
It's only just a bit (2cm) taller than the halfords haf203 at £5.79 inc. Maybe a lash up is called for here?

ok, thanks Clive ... called them this morn .. helpful but still had to look twice to find the 3C-T specs !!
£18 air f, £8 oil f, £6 fuel f, inc vat, + £5 p&P
So, £37 the lot mail order .. not bad and the best found

Got the filters this morning .. very quick! £36.66 for the 3.
The old filter is the Toyota original .. can antone tell me if they are cleanable (in petrol, meths, ethanol etc) like some of the big metal filters from uk cars ?
