(Home) window runner silicone held

Hi all, Another week another Question.
Been fixing me Townie today fitting a new wing mirror (as kindly supllied by Jason (many thanks)) and thought while the door panel was off i would fix the window which had popped out of the bottom runner.
I assume the bottom runner where the window sits should have some sort of rubbery thang there (cos mine aint) to hold it place as the window goes up and down.
Does anybody know of a way to fix the window to the runner, thought of using some silicone sealant but i'm not sure if it will hold as you lower the window and i don't want to use some sort of mega stick glue just in case the window ever gets broken (dont want a half smashed window permently stuck to the runner).

Thanks
Dan

Dan. On the parts CD illustration, (which is not very clear) Toyota call this runner a "cushion" so, presumably, the runner has some sort of fabric/rubber type moulding insert. The part number of the cushion is 68145-87001 for Aces produced from 88 to 92. Usually, window glass is pressed into the runner, with the moulding, and this grips the glass securely. You might try your local Toyota dealer to see if they sell this moulding seperately. Also, the local windscreen Company may well stock some of this material. DIY outlets sell plastic moulding of many profiles. You might find one with a "U" profile which will be right to fit the channel and the glass.
