(Home) hiace wheels

Help, my 1994 Toyota HiAce Super Custom import, has failed it's 2nd MOT. The 1st was done by the import garage with brand new tyres on it. Now 12 months later, it has come to light that the wheels are too big so the tyres are rubbing on full lock - minimal, but enough to fail it. There are already spacers fitted, and no room to add any more. I then ordered a new set of alloy's, made especially for this van, or so I was told, but they did not fit - rubbing on the calliper !!! I've tried in vain to get a cheep set of wheels for this import. Can any one assist.

Hi Julie I live in Western Australia, wheel spacers can not be used over here, but if they are ok where you live have you tried the spacers on the new mags to lift them away from tho calliper?
Also look further down the list there have been a few posts on alternative makes of vehicle that use the same stud pattern as Toyota
Kind Regards
Ron

Is the HiAce five or six stud?

Would a less fat tyre help?
Gentle shaping with a 5lb club hammer?

I have a set of toyota alloys off my Hiace and have emailed you julie to see if yours is 5 stud or the 4 wheel drive which is 6 stud I believe I can also give you the number of a company in kent that will import a set of german made wheels that do fit on the 5 stud Hiace without any spacers
