Can anyone tell me what the gear ratio is in the rearend of 89 townace vans, both pertol and gas? I'm looking at buying one out of japan and no one over there seems to be able to help me with an answer.

There are a number of variants. You'd need to get a not of the axle code off the VIN plate then look that up in one of the online listings- IIRC there's one on off-road.com/ toyota...
