(Home) timing belt light on n reg hiace van

I have just replaced the timing belt on my van, but now need to switch off the timing belt light on the dash.

Please could anyone advise on how to do this.

Many Thanks,

Purvesh

I believe its behind the dash rather than the small reset button in the front dash on other toyotas.....have also read some inconclusive arguments as to whether its accessable through a drivers air vent or not.
Have never seen it myself, but taking the bulb out may be an option if you can't find it behind the dash

Thanks for your prompt reply chris.

How does the dash come out, I mean theres no real direct trim in front to remove. It all looks like one big trim.

If it is accessible via driver vent, that would be a quick fix! How have you read this being done?

Thanks for the help..

Various comments in Ace Answers > Belts
e.g. Belt. T-belt warning light.

Also Dashboard 7 electrics > Warnings
especially " o Warning. Timing belt warning light"

The discussions read around the hiace are ''somewhere' at

As I said, the vent access seemed an inconclusive argument.
I would check Dave's links 1st as there are many similarities between the townace and hiace.
If you pull the dash I believe there is a screw hidden in a vent and one hidden by the ignition switch which seem to cause some head scratching...I can't speak from experience though...thankfully its a task I have not needed to do myself yet....
