(Home) clutch help please for the love of god

OK Sorry guys, i feel like i'm bombarding you all with me and my clutch questions but i'm stuck again.

Ok taken out my slave/release cylinder and stripped it down and that seems fine to but as of yet no joy trying to bleed the bleeder.

My next question to you guys is, the slave/release cylinder pushes against a levery thing on the side of the clutch housing. Should this levery thing (that i belive is for the clutch release bearing) be sprung loaded, to push back against the cylinder. Mine is a little bit springy but not enough to be able to push the pushrod on the slave/release cylinder back in is this right ????

Also with that in mind might this be why i can't bleed the system properlly (as the pushrod is always out)

Any ideas fella's i seen so much of the underneath of my van laterly i'm startin to miss my wife and kids.

Yes the clutch release lever is the thing that the slave cylinder pushes on. You may not be able to push this by hand. If it is pushed forward you may have clutch problems, the clutch housing should push it back to engage drive.
Underside of the van been there done that several times including today!

Ok then i just thought that i would up date you guys with how i got on.

Well after all the hassel i had trying to bleed it, i finally worked out that the problem was with air in the master clutch cylinder. I had to undo the fluid out pipe on the master clutch cylinder and start bleeding it from there. I undone the pipe just a touch while pushing the clutch down, tightened and lifted the clutch, after a couple of times the air was gone and it was just a matter of bleedin the slave cylinder and finally the thingy that runs in to the slave cylinder as it is higher than the slave cylinder and the last place any access air could be trapped.

Adjusted the push rod on the master cylinder for more clutch clearance and everything seems fine. Got more pressure than ever before on the clutch and the gears are changing smoother than ever.

Had great fun putting the dashboard back together and have ended up with 5 screws left over from somewhere.

Thanks for your help on this and previous post of mine.

No Doubt i will be a buggin all your bonce's again, especially as i am thinkin about putting a new clutch pressure plate in...

Cheers guys..
