Hi please could you help with this matter ? i have a toyota lucida 2.3td auto just lately i have an orange oil level light in words coming on. i have checked all the various oil levels i can find and they seem to be ok have i missed one ? also how often do you have to change the automatic transmission fluid ?.

Have you checked *both* engine oil levels- sump AND topup tank?

ATF change? Good question. the Lucida has an electronically controlled tranny and the same tranny in a Grand Vitara has a 100k mile fluid lifetime. Personally, I'd drain the sump and refill at alternate oilchanges- ATF is MUCH cheaper than a new tranny...
