my power steering is fine when still and goes lock to lock ok but is slightly sticky, on the move it is sometimes is ok but then gets heavy as if it has failed, again it is intermitent and feels like something is sticking, i have no noise or squeaks or leaks and fluid is ok. any ideas?

Slack or shiny belt? If not, possibly a sticking pressure control valve in the pump, try changing the fluid...

Check the belt is tensioned enough.

Change the fluid.

Pop into a PS specialist.
