Hello,

I am the new proud owner of 2wd Diesel Mastereace. 40000Km. The shift lever will no longer shift out of park when the release button on the the lever is depressed. I have to use the red interlock button to be able to move the lever.

Any ideas on what would be causing the problem

Brakelight switch or fuse, then the solenoid itself below the shifter...

You realise that you have to have the ignition on and to press the brake pedal to move it out of "P"?
