I picked up my Townie Yesterday with a new engine fitted by Parts Plaza in Stratford, London. They claim to import Japanese Recon engines and I was given the choice of a 2-CT or 3-CT with (I think) a couple of hundred price difference.

I went for the 3-CT and (including towing from Colchester, fitting the engine and fitting of a new alternator) the bottom line cost was 1020 stirling and I get a 6 month guarantee on the engine. Seems fair ?!
