(Home) ace respray caution

Last week the neighbours had some men in putting up a fence....the panels were sprayed with one of these electric diy sprayers...
You guessed it, at the weekend I noticed the hiace bus had been misted with this green water based fence paint.....when wet with carwash it could be rubbed off, so after much effort this was done and then the remaining specs came off with polish.
FINE!..pain in the rear, but job done.
Wake up this morning (day after the mammoth polish) to see a decorator next door spraying the fence again!....this time with oil based green fence paint....the mist blowing over the hiace was not as fine as the other day....sizable globs of oil based paint showering the side, front and roof again!
OK, sh*t happens, but twice in the same place in a matter of days?!
He wiped it off with white spirit and rinsed with water and went...so another afternoon loading the polish on to remove residue......
I'll keep my opinion of the guilty parties to myself....but as a note of caution....be very worried if you see any fences going up next door or decorators vans appearing....these electric sprayers are cheap as chips and do a quick job, but getting the wind blown paint mist off your pride and joy is a full afternoon of a job.

If you had been at work and this had happened then you would have claimed off the company's insurance - no? So what makes this any different? Present your neighbour with a bill for time and materials!

Shame it was green, if anyone is having their fence silver let me know I'll be round. Mind you going green.......
Polish what's that?

Well, the bus is now the shiniest in the county. They run a garage and car sales lot and did offer to have it buffed off......but having it resprayed twice in a week and then probably getting it back buffed through to the primer on the corners would have been the last straw....I did consider a few actions that I can't print here, but lets just say I am now educated to a new level regarding levels of human stupidity!
I was considering getting one of these elecric sprayers for the rear gates.....but now that I know what they are capable of!..........suppose it could have been worse...ie: I could have got one of these things myself and inadvertantly resprayed my bus and next doors merc........would never have done it twice though!
