hi all, last week you may remember i got a surfmaster with a headgasket changed and wouldnt start, after a brief look at previous posts and help from mr miller, i discovered the problem was wiring ...
Today i had a little play and got it running....hooray
but i have a couple of problems to sort out
1- exhaust manifold blowing... not tightened.
2- vacuum pipes !!!! does anyone have a diagram of where they are supposed to go??
3- had to drain fuel tank out as fuel mixed with what smells like thinners (stale )... linked to fresh diesel and she fired up
what is the capacity of the fuel tank??
thanks for you help
Ian

Ian. I think I am right in saying that the fuel tank capacity is 60 litres.
Ian Dunse kindly published a comprehensive layout & key to the vacuum/solenoid/valve layout. Go to Ace Answers, Engine, Vacuum system.
