Does any body know if you can get a side awning for these vans, I have a 1990 Masterace I know they are the same shape as the town ace, I would like to go camping with it and thought a side awning would be the ideal solution as I'am not keen on tents or caravans.
If anyone knows were if I could get one I would be very greatful.

I definitely know that they do make awnings for Mitsubishi Delica's which are almost the same shape as a Townie, and I see no reason why they should not be suitable.

I understand the VW Caravelle (spelling?) one fits. I don't know for sure as I've not seen it.
If you do get one you can try it out at Brean in 3 weeks time!
