Is it a Toyota one, you may have trouble?
If it's a UK aftermarket fit one, try an alarm fitter, most have several fobs that can be coded to your system.

Of course not. The code is unique that's the whole point. If a Toyota original then it's a dealer for a copy - take plenty of cash with you!

Who knows. You'd need to supply a bit more detail. Spare alarm fobs can be bought for £20-30, but some immos' require the base unit changing along with the transponders; this could be a number of hundreds of pounds...

I can however tell you that NO 1991 townie had a factory fitted immo.

I have had a Sigma alarm/immobiliser system for the last four years. It has proved vey effective and, when I required a new remote keyfob/sender unit, it cost £40
