Can anyone please tell me where a leak of diesel now a bad one on the nearside front is likely to be coming from as my garage unfortunately is unable to locate it. I think it is hard to locate due to possible run off onto the chassis parts. Has someone mentioned before something about a wax seal as it appears to be worse when the engine is hot. I would be grateful for any help. It is the new shape 1993 Royal Lounge CR 21. Thanks

Find a different garage! Preferably a diesel specialist, but it aint rocket science. Timing cover, top cover, thermowax, throttle spindle. They all leak occasionally, and it could be any of them...

same problem on my 88 townace.washed off and dried then started engine diesel coming from between pump body and pump head, going to diesel specialist for repair, claims to have come across this problem before new gasket required . may be totally different on yours so good luck..
