(Home) 2c cylinder head specs

I'm having excessive whitish smoke on cold start-up. Smells like lube oil burning and disappears after a warm up.
Would like to check cylinder head, but manual not available where I am. Please give me any specifications / part numbers or advice.
My engine is a 2C (non-turbocharged)produced around 1991-92.
Thanks

Do you need the spec of the manual or, the very many torque values, gaskets, bolts, belt numbers?
The manual is part No RMO25E and most Toyota dealers can obtain it for you. Where are you ? Look in the archives. there are helpful dealers who will even post the manual internationally.

What specs do you need? Flatness? Valve clearances?

White smoke on cold startup, I'd look at glowplugs and timing first...

The specs for Flatness & Valve clearances, dimensional tolerance of valve & guide etc. are top priority together with the torques.
The timing is confirmed OK. Will check the glow plugs.
I'm in Burma and it does pose a problem trying to get the manual.
Thanks anyway.

Hmm, all in the archives, I believe. Clearances are .25 amd .3 mm IIRC, mating faces need to be FLAT- if you can measure an error, it's too big. Your new head gasket may well come with torque values, but book values are 33lbft +90deg +90deg. Exh. manifold 34lbft.

How was the timing confirmed- where did you find the plunger travel, if you can't find even valve clearance info?

David Miller, thanks for the values. The timing was confirmed by a so-called specialist that I have to rely on (no specs involved with these witch doctors).
As for the cylinder head, I just needed the basic specs to keep an eye on the next witch doctor who will be rebuilding my cylinder head.
I am trying my best to get hold of a copy of the manual through a contact in Singapore.
Thanks once again.
